From installer to text at your cursor.
If you’ve never used Luphia: install the Windows app (or try the live browser demo), sign in with Google, hold the hotkey, and speak. No waitlist. No credit card. Tell us what breaks at support@luphia.ai.
If Edge or SmartScreen blocks the installer: Keep → Keep anyway, then More info → Run anyway. The build is code-signed (Vincent Ippolito).
Step 1
Install the Windows app
Download the one-click installer. It opens Luphia when it finishes. Prefer a preview first? Use the live browser demo — same Google account and Grok path, but it does not type into Word, Slack, or your other desktop apps.
- Windows 10/11 (x64)
- Google sign-in — no credit card for Free
- Need a ZIP instead? Portable download
Step 2
Sign in with Google
Continue with Google in the app. A browser window opens, then returns you here. Same account as the website. Free to start — no API key, no card.
- Use the Google account you’ll keep for Luphia
- Pro is optional later (trial when offered)
Step 3
Hold Ctrl+Alt+Space
Click into the app you want to type in — Word, Slack, a browser, Cursor — then hold the hotkey. A floating pill appears. You can change the shortcut later in Settings.
- Hold to talk for short bursts
- Double-tap the same keys for hands-free
Step 4
Speak naturally
Keep holding and talk. The pill shows Listening… while xAI Grok hears you. Release the keys (or click Done) when you’re finished. Cancel with Esc if you want to throw the take away.
Step 5
Text lands at your cursor
Grok cleans the take (Refine by default) and inserts it where you were typing. The pill flashes Inserted. That’s the whole loop — no extra paste step unless you chose copy-only.
Use it in your real workflow, then email support@luphia.ai with what worked and what didn’t.
